Who inspires you? Is there a person in your life who keeps you feeling motivated? Can you think of someone from your past who pushed you to do something you didn’t want to do and that boost made an impact on your life? We can. I bet you can, too.

As seniors, staying active and living a life of adventure can appear to be difficult or impossible. A senior may wonder what more they can do. Can I become even more active and do more new things after moving and learning my whole life? The answer to that is: YES!

These six seniors have inspired us in more ways than one. They’ve inspired us to try, even when trying seems impossible. They’ve motivated us to push harder and never give up. These wonderful individuals have given us hope and, even if it seems small, a smile on our faces. To all of the inspirational seniors, keep kicking butt! You are amazing!

Sy Perlis – This gentleman holds a world weight lifting record at the age of 91. In 2013, he lifted 187.2 pounds over his chest to break the record from 2015. That’s just unheard of! Betty White – We can’t write an inspiring seniors article without mentioning this amazing comedian and actress! She just keeps making us laugh, cry and appreciate having her humor in our lives. Thank you, Betty, for never giving up on your art!
